Obituary: Micah Deoin Martin

Micah Deoin Martin, 13, of Timbo, Arkansas passed away at his home on Sunday, April 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Micah was born on Dec. 22, 2007, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Trent and Megan (Myers) Martin.

Micah and his family were members of Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church.

Micah was an incredible young man who loved God, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed playing video games, football, anything outdoors, and everything associated with Star Wars.

Micah always had a positive attitude and never once doubted God would take care of him, no matter the circumstances. He left a lasting impact on anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting him.

Micah is survived by his parents, Trent and Megan (Myers) Martin; his brother, Jude Martin; grandparents, Mark and Jackie Martin and Roger and Gina Myers; great-grandmother, Mary Martin; two aunts, Kristin Backstrom and husband Rob and Typhanie Myers; one uncle Robby Myers and wife Alyssa; along with many cousins, extended family, and friends.

Micah was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Visitation is Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Friday, April 9, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with several pastors from Flatwoods officiating. Interment will be private.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Davis (Eli Davis), Kyle Davis, Justin Cook (Ladd Cook), Michael Gray (Cole Gray), Andy Tinkle, and Toby Crymes (William Crymes). Honorary pallbearers are the 7th grade class of 2021.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital online at www.stjude.org or mail a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
