Batesville’s Emilee Flood makes appearance on James Corden’s ‘Late Late Show’ Monday


A Batesville native is continuing to make a mark for herself in the world of music.

Emilee Flood, the daughter of Batesville’s Sherry and Greg Flood, made an appearance on the Monday night edition of CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden.”

Emille performed with musical artist and actor Ludacris on the song, “Beautiful Boy,” by Columbian singer-songwriter Karol G.

Another track featuring Emilee that has made an impact worldwide is “ily (i love you baby)” by American electronic artist Surf Mesa. Not only is the Frankie Valli-infused track in the running for I Heart Radio’s Best Dance Song of the Year award, but it has hit the Top 40 in countries such as France, New Zealand, the Czech Republic, Norway, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, and numerous other foreign locales.

In the United States, the song hit number two on the Billboard Top 40 chart and number one on the magazine’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs.

Emilee has also appeared on The Today Show and was featured in USA Today with her husband, fellow singer-songwriter Edgar Sandoval Jr., after they met via the online streaming service, Spotify.
