Three men were sent to the Sharp County Jail on Friday after law enforcement officials reported discovering marijuana, unidentified pills, over $4,000 in cash, and over two pounds of suspected methamphetamine in a camper.
According to a release from Sharp County Chief Deputy Sheriff Aaron Presser, officers from the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office, the Cherokee Village Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and Arkansas Game and Fish executed a search warrant at a camper, owned by a man identified as Michael Barber, at Griffin Park in the Hardy area.
During a search of the area, Presser said officers found over two pounds of suspected meth, over $4,000 in U.S. currency, marijuana, unidentified pills, and various other articles of drug paraphernalia.
Barber and two other men — identified in Presser’s release as Casey Clouse and William Yarbrough — were arrested at the scene and transported to the Sharp County Jail where Presser said they await formal charges.
