A line of shoppers waited early Saturday morning for the official opening of the Main Street Batesville Farmers Market season. On the first day, visitors enjoyed the variety of goods from local farmers and merchants along with live musical entertainment.
Main Street Batesville’s Mandi Curtwright said this eighth market season has musical entertainment booked for each market date and more vendors lined up than ever before. And while supplies last, shoppers can pick up a free White River Now reusable market back while supplies last.
The market will be open on the first, third, and fifth Saturday mornings of each month from May through October.
