Freddy Neal Goodman, 67, of Floral died Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Freddy was born in Batesville on Aug. 25, 1953, to the late Junior Goodman and Velma Sena (Martin) Goodman.
He was a mechanic by trade and did a lot of bodywork on cars as well. He worked in the shop at Ronnie Dowdy for many years, doing mechanic work and bodywork on their semi-trucks. He loved restoring old cars in his spare time.

Everybody that knew them knew the way to their house and that they were always welcome. Freddy also served on the board of the Hutchison Mountain Community Center.
Freddy is preceded in death by both of his parents and his two brothers, Clifford Goodman, and Ricky Goodman. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dian Goodman; his two daughters Carrie Ann Douglas (Billy) and Mary Ellen Bryant (Micah); his 5 grandchildren: Charles Lawson, Mary Lawson, Ricky Douglas, Isaiah Bryant, and Judah Bryant; his two great-grandchildren, Mason Lawson, and Isaac Turnage; one great-grandchild on the way, Aria Grace Lawson; and numerous friends, extended family, and acquaintances.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. There will be a visitation Wednesday afternoon from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. and a funeral service Thursday morning at 10 a.m., both at Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery on Hutchison Mountain.
