Carrie Sue Tipton Clem, 86 of Batesville passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021. She was born March 26, 1935, in Batesville Arkansas to Bob and Ruth Jeffery. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ in Batesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Billy Tipton and Leroy Clem; one daughter, Debbie Tipton Caldwell and one grandson, Matthew Caldwell.
Survivors include one daughter, Dede Tosh and husband Kenny; one sister, Gwen Wilson; two brothers, Gifford Jeffery and Steve Jeffery; son-in-law, Mack Caldwell; grandchildren, Tim Tosh (Kacee), Jeff Tosh (Taylor), Nick Caldwell, and Kristen Tosh (Cody); great-grandchildren, Alexis Tosh, Brody Tosh, Finn Tosh, Rory Tosh, Ryland Cash, Sophia Tosh, and Caden Scheffler all of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Barnes Cemetery in Batesville with Barry Wilkes officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.
Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons and Marty Stevenson.
