Cardia Lee Ramey, 79, of Batesville, AR entered into rest on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021.
She was born Aug. 10, 1942, in McCrory, AR to Gurley Ramey and Henriette Butler. In 1954, Cardia moved to Batesville and united with Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served in the missionary society.
Cardia enjoyed decorating the interiors of her home, yard work, and traveling. She also enjoyed playing board games and watching Family Feud. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend that will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Cardia is reunited in heaven with her parents; brothers, Eddie Ramey, Tommy L. Ramey, William “Billy” Ramey, and Lee Wesley Ramey; and sister, Deloris Ramey.
She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Jackson (David) and Angela Neely; sons, Tommy Neely, Angelo Neely (Linda), and Timothy O. Ramey SR. (Tina); grandchildren, Aquibia Danielle Neely, Dedrick Gillium, Kaylon Neeley, Kia Elizabeth Grant, Dominique McAuthor, Taliyah Cardia Ramey, Rikanna Johnson, and Timothy O. Ramey Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ian Kenneth Tripp, Kiara Marie Tripp, Jasiah Ramey, Sariah Johnson, Chloe Gillium, Xavier Samuel Bell, and Makiah Johnson; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Ernest Vance, will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow funeral service at Oaklawn Cemetery.
At the family’s request, masks and social distancing are required.
