Wilson Hunt, 88 of Evening Shade passed away Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. He was born June 21, 1933, in Stanford, Arkansas to Virgil and Emma Hunt. He was retired owner of Hunt’s Hardware in Evening Shade and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Evening Shade.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iva Mae Hunt, and two brothers, Paul David Hunt and Jerry Hunt.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Hunt of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Randy Hunt of Searcy; three daughters, Sherry Spearman (Richard) of Batesville, Teresa Bathgate (Wes) of Long Beach, California, and Rita Wagner (Steve) of Frazier Park, California; one sister, Pansy Sue Cullen of Paragould; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Evening Shade with Bro. John Deaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hunt, Randy Hunt, Richard Spearman, Tyler Hunt, Spencer Hunt, and Ricky Hunt.
