Alice Faye Walling, 69 of Smithville passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021. She was born Dec. 24, 1951, in Batesville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Everette Randolph and Mildred Whitlow Randolph Maxwell. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper for Walling Construction, and a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, George Maxwell, and a grandson, Trevor Walling.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ronnie Lee Walling of the home; two sons, Reggie Walling (Miranda) of Cave City and Darren Walling of Strawberry; one daughter, Rhonda Scott (Shannon) of Strawberry; one sister, Marilyn Davis (Jerry) of Strawberry; one step-brother, Bob Maxwell (Dian) of Cave City; six grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Randall Scott, Lucas Walling, Mason Walling, Maddie Walling, and Makenzie Walling; two great-grandchildren, Collin Scott and Brylea Scott; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn with Bro. Reggie Walling and Bro. Jerry Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery at Lynn with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Scott, Randall Scott, Lucas Walling, Mason Walling, Jerry Dan Davis Jr., and Chad Davis.
Honorary pallbearers are Trevor Walling, Travis Walling, David Walling, Brent Smith, and Brad Maxwell.
