Many Cushman residents now have a new option for internet service thanks to a grant from Arkansas Rural Connect (ARC). Bethesda Wireless is now providing high-speed low-latency internet for Cushman residents in addition to current customers in Bethesda, Spring Mill, Locust Grove, Pfeiffer, and Westwood Hills. Arkansas Rural Connect is a grant program designed to expand the broadband footprint in rural Arkansas communities.
The ARC program also enables Bethesda Wireless to offer free installation with a battery backup and wi-fi router for those residing in the footprint of the Cushman grant area.
“High-speed, low latency internet makes all the difference in the world when it comes to remote learning for our students, telemedicine for all of us during this difficult time, and many who are working from home. Streaming movies and playing games without issues is just a lot better experience for our subscribers as well,” said Daniel Godfrey with Bethesda Wireless.
Godfrey recently sat down with White River Now’s Chad Whiteaker to discuss the new service in Cushman; details about fees and tier packages; and what Bethesda Wireless provides for customers not only in Cushman, but throughout the area.
