Cathy Janiece Tharp Payne, 69 of Floral passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at her home. She was born Feb. 13, 1952, in Batesville, Arkansas to F.W. and Bobbie Lee Jefford Tharp. She was retired from the Northcentral Arkansas Development Council in Batesville and was a member of Floral Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Andy Payne.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Payne; one son, Jonathan Payne; two daughters, Chasity Manry (Greg) and Shelly Moser (Jason) all of Batesville; three brothers, Keith Tharp (Linda), Mike Tharp (Cathy), and Freddie Tharp (Crystal) all of Floral; four grandchildren, Payne Moser, Casen Manry, and Juliana Moser all of Batesville and Presley Payne of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Floral Baptist Church in Floral with Bro. Troy Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Chris Tharp, Nathan Tharp, Derek Tharp, Brayden Tharp. Bryson Tharp and Keagan Tharp.
Honorary pallbearers are Greg Manry, Jason Moser, Casen Manry, Payne Moser, Presley Payne, Juliana Moser, Randy Sharp, and Gary Leisure.
The family requests that all guests wear masks at the funeral service.
