James Lawrence Jackson of Rosie, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 at the age of 61.
He was born Aug. 31, 1960, in Newport, the son of Frank Jackson and Alice Faye Griffin.
On Dec 12, 1987, he married Miss Kim Hickman, and together they spent 33 years.
Jackson was a hard-working man and was self-employed as a diesel mechanic.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a father to many fur babies. Jackson was an incredible man and husband, who absolutely adored his wife, Kim. First and foremost, he loved his Lord.
Jackson was preceded in death by his father, Frank Jackson.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kim Jackson of Rosie; his mother, Alice Faye Griffin of Bradford; one sister, Cathy Jackson of Kansas; special nieces, Ava Allison of Collierville, Tennessee, and Kendall George of Newport; three nephews, one niece, other relatives and a lifetime of friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN, or your local animal shelter.
There will be no public service at this time.
