Calvin Block, 54, of Newport passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at his home. He was born May 13, 1967, in Newport the son of Charles Block and Ilene Keffier.
He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking for people but most of all he loved his family.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Jimmy Keffier.
He is survived by his girls, Karlie Bright of Bradford and Kayelyn Bright of Bradford; one brother, Lewis Block of Newport; three sisters, Debbie Wilson of California, Judy Bailey of Tuckerman, and Lisa Joplin (Dewayne) of Jacksonport; and his very closest friend, Mary Richardson.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Walker Cemetery. Friends may visit 1:30 – 2:30 at the funeral home.
