Edward Lee Jones, 74, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away November 13, 2021.
He was born September 10, 1947, in Caraway, Arkansas to Lee Bell and Helen (Branscum) Jones.
Edward loved dogs, playing cards, and tinkering with woodwork. He also enjoyed driving his truck, listening to music, and working with AC Bell.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Janie Belle (Gillmore) Jones of the home; two sons, Andy Jones (Tiffany) and Randy Jones (Debbie), all of Batesville; one brother, Donald Jones of Locust Grove; one sister, Shirley Matheny (Richard) of Batesville; four grandchildren, Kelsey Wilkerson (Shannon Ellis), Jacob Jones, Elizabeth Jones, and Noah Jones, as well as a special friend, AC Bell, and his dog, Benji.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Christopher Jones; and one daughter, Amanda Jones.
Pallbearers are Perry Meeker, Justin Meeker, Pete Gillmore, R.J. Gillmore, Jr., Blake Finnie, David Branscum, James Wiltrout, and Cleetes Gillmore.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Paul Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Egner Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
