Monday and Tuesday of next week will be two days away from campus for Batesville School District students. Information director for the district, Megan Renihan, visited with White River Now’s Gary B. (Listen below).
There will be no classes or services on campus, all learning will pivot to remote and virtual modes. All employees will be allowed to work from home remotely to encourage social distancing. After-school activities will remain as scheduled.
At the latest count, Independence County was ninth among 75 Arkansas counties with COVID-19 cases.
