The annual Mark Martin Automotive-Lyon College Basketball Invitational Tournament will return to Becknell Gymnasium next week when the games tip-off on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
This year’s four-day event will include six boys teams and four girls teams, playing 13 games for a pair of championships, which will be played on Saturday, Dec. 11.
Admission to the tournament is $5 for anyone 13-and-older, while fans 12-and-under are admitted free. Lyon College students, staff, and faculty are admitted free with their college identification.
The six teams participating in the boys’ division this year include Batesville, Greers Ferry Westside, Searcy, Southside, Thayer, and Wynne. The six girls’ teams that will be competing this year include Greers Ferry Westside, Searcy, Southside, and Wynne.
