Lloyd Parks, 89, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born March 7, 1932, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, the son of Tice and Nancy (Williams) Parks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: William Tice, Eugene, Louis, and Charles Parks and one sister, Lois Moulder.
He worked for 33 years for Comet Rice Mills. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisburg and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Geralene “Jerry” (Casebier) Parks of the home in Jonesboro, one son, Terry Lloyd Parks of Paragould, one step-son, Scott Brown of Statesville, North Carolina, one daughter, Linda Louise Adams of Brookland, Arkansas, two step-daughters: Vicki Puryear of Douglasville, Georgia and Debra Christakes of Dallas, Georgia, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bro. Tim Jarrett and Bro. Jerry Kausler will conduct the service and these men will serve as active pallbearers: Stan Parks, Michael Parks, Burnie Adams, Scott Brown, Tommy Williams, and Danny Clark.
Visitation will be at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 1:00 P. M. until service time. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
