Fred Eugene Ramey, 70, of Blytheville passed from this life on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Oakdale Nursing Facility. He was born in Blytheville on October 28, 1951, to Dick and Marsha (Melton) Ramey.
Fred served in the Air Force for four years. He spent most of this time overseas. He enjoyed watching Western movies and Cardinal baseball. He worked many years at Consolidated Supply; he later worked at E & I Electric and retired from there. Fred married the love of his life, Shirley Page Ramey; they were married for 39 years. =
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brother, Rick Ramey Jr.; his sister, Mary Overturf.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, JoAnn Gray of Chatham, Virginia and Erma Mays of Van Buren, Arkansas and his sister-in-law, Elaine Green (Melvin) of Austin, Arkansas and a host of nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Elaine and Melvin for all their love and help for Fred.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2:00 at Dogwood Cemetery in Blytheville, Arkansas.
