Todd Guffey Turner, 58, of Tuckerman passed away Saturday, December 18, at his home. He was born September 1, 1963, in Newport to Jerry Ray and Glenna Guffey Turner.
He was a member of the Tuckerman First Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He enjoyed watching westerns especially if Mat Dillon or John Wayne was in them. He had a favorite saying “If it wasn’t cooked in Elgin it’s not worth eating.” Spending time with his family and friends was his favorite thing to do.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Jerry Jr.
He is survived by his mother; Glenna Turner of Tuckerman, his wife Mary Turner of Tuckerman, one son; Ryan Emery of Jonesboro, two daughters; Casey Jeffery and husband Jeremy of N. Little Rock, Amanda Emery of Jonesboro, two brothers; Randy Turner and wife Vaneissia of Tuckerman, Tony Turner and wife Christy of Newport, and his dog; Pee Paw Jack.
Services will be 10:00 Wednesday, December 22, at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cheshier Cemetery.
