Joe Tyrone Ramsey, 83, of Southside, departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2022.
He was born in Haynes, Arkansas on September 12, 1938, to Claude Ramsey and Helen Hill. He was raised by his parents, Tom and Helen Carson.
During his working years, he was a truck driver. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Southside. He served our country in the Army.
He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed life to the fullest. His family will remember him as one who loved having fun.
Joe is survived by his wife, Eileen, of the home; sons, Joe Tyrone Ramsey, Jr, (Billie) of Southside, and Joseph Trent Ramsey (Jessica), of Floral; his daughter, Tina Marie Garcia, of Wynne; a brother, Andrew Buddy Carson, of Marianna; his sisters, Irene, Sadie, Ada Mae, Mary Alice, Shirley, and Sue; his grandchildren, Makayla, Maci, Courtney, and Christian; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
