Rickey Scoggins Jr, 59, of Weiner, Arkansas departed this life on Monday ~ January 31, 2022, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was born September 11, 1962, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the son of George and Willene (Bennett) Scroggins.
His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Jarrett William Scoggins of Payneway, Arkansas, one brother, Dennis (LauraLea) Scoggins of Weiner, four sisters: Judy (Larry) Taylor of Newark, Arkansas, Linda (Von) Hollis of Greenwood, Arkansas, Carolyn Wright of Weiner, and Brenda Broach of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He had different jobs as an adult, farmworker and selling parts for John Deere Company was just a couple of them. He enjoyed picking on that old guitar and spending time with family and friends. Following cremation, there will be a “Celebration of Life” conducted by the family at a later date.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner, Arkansas.
