Kory Douglas Watkins, 30, of Newport departed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was born October 3, 1991, to Steven and Kim (Henson) Watkins. He loved his kids more than anything, playing video games, hiking, camping, concerts, and going to the ocean.
Kory was preceded in death by his father Steven, and his paternal grandparents; Tuffy and Patsy Watkins.
He is survived by his mother; Kim Watkins (Shawn Kinard) of Newport, fiancée; Savannah Humphryes of Conway, two sons; Godrik Watkins, Caspian Watkins, two daughters; Arabella Watkins, Lilith Watkins, bonus daughter; Emma Bumpous, three brothers; Derek Hatler (Lori) of Batesville, Kevin Watkins of Batesville, Aden Arter of Searcy, one sister; Alexandria Watkins of Newport, maternal grandparents; Mary Henson of Newport, Doug Henson of Jacksonport, Barbara Tubbs of Newport, maternal uncles; Doug Henson of Hot Springs, Josh Kinard of Blytheville, paternal uncles; Eddie Watkins of Newport, Danny Ray Watkins of Bald Knob, Chris Watkins of Newport, and his best friends Victor Sanders and Darrell Femsteer.
Memorial service will be 6:00 Thursday at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Cooper officiating.
