Phyllis A. (Fisher) Hurt, 72, of Trumann departed this life on Friday ~ February 4, 2022, NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on September 11, 1948, in Jonesboro, Arkansas the daughter of Orin and Ollie Fisher.
She married Willie Wayne Hurt on February 23, 1967, and they enjoyed 52 years before his passing in December 2019.
Her parents preceded her in death and she was also preceded by four brothers: Don, Johnny, Bobby, and Ricky Fisher, and one sister, Peggy Fisher.
She is a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Harrisburg and truly enjoys being part of the Ladies Group. She enjoys crocheting, making baby blankets, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Steve and wife Lorie Hurt of Jonesboro, one daughter, Stacey Meridith of Harrisburg, one brother, Larry Fisher, five grandchildren: Kayleigh, Justin (Kassie), Dylan, Brandon, and Hannah, one great-grandchild, Isaac, and two-step-grandchildren: Tanner and Chase. Funeral Service Time will be Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 10:00 A. M. Jackson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
Bro. Danny Russell and these men will serve as pallbearers: Justin Hurt, Dylan Meridith, Mike Clem, Roy Davis, Randall Stanford, and Carl Coleman. Interment will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye, Arkansas.
