Frederick Carl Werkmeister, 76 of Cave City passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born March 15, 1945, in Oneonta, New York to Henry and Ethel Clapper Werkmeister. He was a retired truck driver and musician and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Crystal Farris; two brothers, Eddie Werkmeister and George Werkmeister and one sister, Laura Werkmeister.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Werkmeister of the home; one son, Freddy Werkmeister (Janet) of Edmeston, New York; three daughters, Lisa Proper (Joe) of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Lisa Myers (Brian) of North Carolina, Angel Neeley (Lee) of Cave City; one step-daughter, Tammy Hotaling of Oneonta, New York; son-in-law, Willie Farris of Cave City; one sister, Arvella Werkmeister of Michigan; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Honorary pallbearers are Wiley Fife and Clarence Baggett.
