Obituary: Teresa Foster Branscum

Teresa Foster Branscum, 64, of Rosie passed away Monday, February 14, 2022.

She was born September 16, 1957, in Newport, Arkansas to Franklin Foster and Earline Bumpous Harris.

Teresa was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church. She was a very compassionate woman who loved all kids and it didn’t matter if they were hers or someone else’s. She was a true ”Mama Bear” and the glue that held the family together. She loved to travel, shop for the kids, and loved to help people.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Johnny Branscum of the home; four sons, Shawn Branscum (Amanda Kelley) of Southside, Joey Boone of Rosie, Javen Kelly of Rosie, and Savion Kelly of Rosie; four daughters, Casey Callahan (Robby) of Rosie, Gina Branscum of Southside, Rose Branscum of Rosie, and Jessica Millington (Corey) of Southside; four brothers, Franklin Harris (Kristie) of Kentucky, Glenvall Harris of Southside, James Harris (Amy) of Indiana, and Eddie Harris (Heidi) of California; one sister, Barbara Ballard of Batesville; grandchildren, Tyson Branscum, Austin Branscum, Lane Callahan, Jordan Blevins, Tristan Lawson, Collun Townsend, Emma Boone, Gaven Boone, Ryder Boone; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend, Maxine Wood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and bonus dad, Glen Harris.

Pallbearers are Eric Branscum, Adam Branscum, Heath Branscum, Brandon Branscum, Jody Smith, and Gage Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Stingley and Logan Branscum.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2022, at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Curt Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Springs Cemetery in Rosie, Arkansas under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
