Alberta Dolores Richardson, 85, of Batesville, departed this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  She was born in Batesville on June 6, 193- to Buddy Vick and Jewell Homesley Vick.

She and Rev. Jimmy Richardson were married in Batesville on March 31, 1953.

She was a homemaker and very devoted to her family.  She was very active in her husband’s ministry having served faithfully as a pastor’s wife for over fifty years.  She was a tremendous wife, mother, and grandmother.

Dolores loved working with flowers, and she started Touch of Design Florist in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, James Keith Richardson, and brother, Johnny Homesly.

Dolores is survived by sons, John (Diane) Richardson, of Southside, Joey (Bobbie) Richardson, of Southside, Jared (Kim) Richardson, of Southside; grandchildren, Justin (Katie) Richardson, Julie Moran, Amanda (Scott) Williams, Kayla Richardson, K-Leigh (Deerick) Smith, Katelien (Chad) Burkhead, Alexis Clem, Frankie Richardson, Angela Garcia, Andrew (Daniela) Richardson; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the Egner Cemetery in Southside with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26, 2022, beginning at 1:30 pm until 2:30 p.m. at Doty Southside Funeral Service, 2180 Batesville Blvd, Southside, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Justin Richardson, Scott Williams, Andrew Richardson, Deerick Smith, Jace Garcia, and Kaden Williams.
