Lloyd Cohn Rodgers passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the age of 90 in Batesville, AR. He was born March 26, 1931, in Cave City, Arkansas to M.V. and Bess Rodgers.
He had never met a stranger. He was known for his cheerfulness and friendly disposition. He loved gardening and manicuring the lawn. He liked to stay busy and managed to do so until five years ago. He always had time to listen to his girls if they needed him. Lloyd had a fulfilled and happy life until two years ago and life became more of a challenge.
He is survived by two daughters, Vickie Jelks and Connie Lytle and husband Jim Stutsman; four grandchildren, Chantel Pitcock and husband Ty, Jarrett Jelks, Sarah-Gretchen Harrison and husband Emmett and Senior Airman (pending Staff Sergeant) Charles Parker Lytle, U.S.A.F. and wife, Casi; three great-grandchildren, Braiden, Daylen and Grady; his wife Frances Burks Rodgers of Rogers, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery located on Grange Road east of Cave City. Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
