May Marie Klais, 94, of Searcy, departed this life on Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was born May 30, 1927, to Dolf and Nellie (Roberts) Doss.
May was a member of the Tuckerman Church of Christ. She loved sewing and was a member of Happy Quilters and the reason they got started in Tuckerman. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Nathan Klais; her daughter, Betty Sapp; her siblings, Paul Doss, Durena Langston, Parnell Doss and Joel Doss.
She is survived by her son, Larry Klais; her grandchildren, Anita Ford of Cave Springs, Kristy Lamb of Fayetteville, Robert Sapp of Bono, Joel and Amanda Sapp of Beebe, and Jennell Sapp of Tuckerman; great-grandchildren, Caleb Ford, Greyson Ford, Nathan Lamb, Elanor Lamb, Alana Sapp, and Cooper Sapp.
Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
