Alice Nathine Huskey, 94, of Jonesboro departed this life on Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born December 7, 1927, to Robert and Martha (Ozella) McDaniel.
Alice was a member of the Stone Ridge Church of Christ. She loved reading the Bible and in her later years could often be found listening to it on C.D. She enjoyed baking and sewing for her family. She also liked to cross stitch and do word search puzzles. One of her favorite things to do was beat her family and friends while playing the Mexican Train Domino Game.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, G.T. Huskey; her son, George T. Huskey Jr.; her brothers, Owen McDaniel and Arvis McDaniel; sisters, Lorene Hutton, Irene Rider and Erma Dell McDaniel.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Markle of Jonesboro; her grandchildren, Tommy Johns (Stacy) of Lake City and Ryan Johns (Angela) of Jonesboro; her great-grandchildren, Noah Johns (Hannah) of Jonesboro, Ethan Johns of Jonesboro, Levi Johns of Lake City, Lauryn Johns of Jonesboro; one great-great-grandchild, Luke Johns of Jonesboro and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be Thursday, March 17, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Dillinger Funeral Home with Dick Blackford officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 until service time. Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Noah Johns, Ethan Johns, Levi Johns, Travis Moody, Trey Moody and Matt Sullivan.
