Henry Dale Carter of Osceola, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born October 13, 1948, in Osceola, the son of Jacob Jackson Carter, Sr., and Fannie May (Haigwood) Carter.
He was a graduate of Osceola High School and a retired FedEx driver. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, shooting his guns, and traveling in his RV. He especially loved camping. His favorite moments were those spent around the campfire.
He was preceded in death by one son, Nathan Matthew Carter; three brothers, Johnny M. Carter, Jacob J. Carter, Jr., and Jacob Charles Carter; two sisters, Genova Douglas and Virginia Lou Houston; and his parents.
He is survived by one daughter, Carmon Hill and husband, Michael of Osceola; two brothers, Lonnie Joe Carter of Newport and Jimmy R. Carter of Newport; one sister, Louise King of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and four grandchildren.
