Horace “Wick” Marvin, Jr. 77, of Almond, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2022, following a lengthy illness. He was born on November 18, 1944, in Little Rock, to Horace Marvin, Sr. and Margaret “Peggy” Marvin.
After graduating from Hall High School and Hendrix College, he received a medical degree from UAMS. He served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant Commander for three years and then worked in Little Rock until 1998 when he moved to the Concord area. He was a member of the North Heights Church of Christ.
Wick worked as a family practice physician and enjoyed motorcycles and working outdoors.
He is proceeded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his siblings, Pete (Lori) Marvin, Tim (Carol) Marvin, Tad (Annette) Marvin, and Tammy Marvin; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jenelle and Jamie Pickett.
A Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the North Heights Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
A visitation time will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.
