Marietta Christene Thompson, 83, of Tuckerman departed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born May 12, 1938, to Cleveland Carter and Lilly (Laycocks) Carter of Fisher.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fisher. She loved going fishing with her granddaughters, attending car shows, roller skating and working in her yard. She also enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling on television and working with the Trails to Tuckerman Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Dale Rowland, Ed Thompson.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Rowland of Tuckerman and Eddie Nagel, whom she claimed as a son, of Tuckerman; daughter, Shawn Reid of Pleasant Plains; a very special nephew, Bryan Rudd Carter of Searcy; grandchildren, Mandy (Rowland) Daniels of Campbell Station, Sara (Rowland) Miles of Tuckerman and Haley Rowland of Newport; great-grandchildren, Kraigan Miles and Ezekiel Miles of Tuckerman.
