The Batesville School District hosted a Pioneers RISE Movie Night at the Melba last week.
Upon arrival, guests were greeted by Pioneer Joe, the Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg. They then received a goodie bag with the classic book, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” and were invited inside to enjoy the movie, “Peter Rabbit,” to get in the spirit for the upcoming holiday.
This literacy event comes from a district push to provide reading resources to our community since the district is a RISE District and Community.
The event was well attended, according to the district. The school district thanked FutureFuel for their sponsorship and Melba for their partnership.
