Ricky Howard, 65, of Newport departed this life on April 19, 2022. He was born June 26, 1956, to Deward Earl and Cora Juanita (Money) Howard.
Ricky was of the Pentecostal belief. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working in his garden and riding his motorcycle. He liked watching UFC fights and loved his fur babies, George and Knothead.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt, Annie Scarbrough.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Clark (Daniel) of Vilonia, Jennifer Howard of Conway, Holly Gilliaum of Newport, and April Brewer (Rob) of Jacksonville; cousin, Calvin (Buddy) Howard (Teresa) of Batesville; the mother of his children, Jan Bailey and husband-in-law, Larry Bailey; special friends, Tony Jackson, Cece Daniels and Arthur Bain; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Arthur Bain, Sam Franks, Marty Comfort, Calvin “Buddy” Howard, Daniel Clark, Chris Terry, Rob Brewer and Jeremy Decker.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral home.
