Patsy D. Stidman, 81 of Sidney passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at her home. She was born October 17, 1940, in Monette, Arkansas to Charles Delphie and Carrie Ester Albert Snider. She was a homemaker and a school baker in Arizona. She was an active member of the Sidney Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for several years, printed the church bulletin and helped with the Lord’s Supper. She was also a member of the Sidney Baptist Church Quilters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Carroll Snider and Calvin Snider and two sisters, Kathryn Scritchfield and Vera Taber.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years and 11 months, Joe Stidman of the home; one daughter, Carrie Shell (Gary) of Evening Shade; one son, Joseph Scott Stidman (Sherry) of West Fork; four grandchildren, Joel Shell of Jonesboro, Hollie Shell of Evening Shade, Jeffrey Shell (Anna) of Star City and Spencer Stidman of West Fork; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Taz Shell and Joann Margaret Shell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sidney Baptist Church with Bro. Shannon Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Teddy Green, Wendell Turner, Lennie Rush, Tim Rush, Gary Shell and Pat Shell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Shell, Jeffrey Shell, Spencer Stidman, Hayden Shell, Hollie Shell and Joann Shell.
