Betty Rose Campbell, 75, of Mt. Pleasant passed away May 6, 2022.
She was born September 14, 1946, in Guion to Vernon Marion and Claudia Mae (Arnold) Ferguson.
Betty loved to work and was a lifelong banker who worked as the Trust Department Manager at First Community Bank for over a decade. She was a cheerleader and encourager to everyone she knew. She was a family caretaker who loved her grandchildren and being outside, working in her yard.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Evans (Steffanie) of Mt. Pleasant and Elliott Sampley (Brandy) of Batesville; one daughter, Amy Campbell of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Don Ferguson of Guion and Ronnie Ferguson of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren, Joshua Howard, Tylor Hill, Trey Hill (Hillary), Michael Evans (Karen), Jesse Sampley, Jacob Sampley, and Camerin Emerson; seven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Leon Campbell.
Pallbearers are Tylor Hill, Trey Hill, Michael Evans, Jesse Sampley, Jacob Sampley, and Blake Howard. Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Howard, Camerin Emerson, George Recile, Tom Edwards, and Phil Ferguson.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery in Guion.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, from noon until 2:00 pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.
