William Lee (Jabo) Morgan was born July 16, 1948, in McCrory, Arkansas. He departed this life on May 22, 2022. He married Judy Eason on May 20, 1978. He was a member of the McCrory Church of Christ. Jabo was a long-time farmer and in his later years worked at Ritter. He loved growing a garden, canning and cooking, especially spicy food.
He is survived by one brother, Hershel Jackson and his wife Melissa; one brother-in-law, James Eason; four sisters, Ann Simpson and her husband Kirby, Carolyn Gillian and her husband Jimmy, Mary Vinson, and Debbie Fields and her husband, Mark; one sister-in-law, Jane Marquez and her husband Isidro; one aunt, Flossie Watkins; two nephews, Melvin Canard and his wife Monica and Stephen Fields and his wife Whitney; three nieces, Joyce Coffey and her husband Thurman, Sandy Caldwell and her husband Chris and Amy Hodges; one niece-in-law, Stefanie Canard; six great-nephews, two great-nieces, six great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Morgan, his mother; Christeen Morrison, grandparents; Don and Mary Morgan; his brother, James Larry Mallory; an infant sister, Betty; an infant brother, Jimmy; two nephews, James Canard and Dustin Fields; one great-nephew, Michael Cook; three uncles, William “Buddy” Morgan, Clois “Red” Morgan, and Verlon Morgan; one aunt, Rose Lee Curnutt.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Fields, Melvin Canard, Chris Caldwell, Thurman Coffey, Stephen Fields and Travis Canard.
The service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home chapel with Tim Henderson officiating. Burial will be at White Lake Cemetery. The visitation is Tuesday, May 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
