Community Insurance, a subsidiary of First Community Bank, has completed a merger with Crouch Insurance Agency and announced the addition of Nancy Elam.

Elam (pictured), an individual health insurance manager, will be focused on helping clients meet their personalized insurance needs, Community Insurance said in a release announcing the merger.

“Community Insurance has a reputation for providing top-notch service to their clients, and I’m excited to join the team,” said Elam. “The commitment they have to the community allows me to be able to provide the personal service that customers and businesses deserve.”

With 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Elam is licensed in health, exchange health, life, property, and casualty insurance. She is a graduate of Insurance Specialty Training of Arkansas (ISTA) and has completed both the Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy as well as Leadership Batesville. Most recently, she was awarded the 2022 Marketplace Elite Circle of Champions designation.

A Batesville native, Elam is a graduate of Batesville High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Lyon College. She and her husband, Eric, have three children: Jackson, Alexis, and Peyton.

“We are excited to have Nancy join our team to further serve Community Insurance and Crouch Insurance Agency customers,” said Anthony Clark, president of Community Insurance. “Nancy has extensive experience with health insurance, and we are glad to welcome her to our team of professionals. First Community Bank truly is a one-stop shop for financial products and insurance.”

What was formerly Crouch Insurance Agency will be moving offices to the existing Community Insurance offices at 1401 Harrison St., in Batesville, at the end of 2022. Customers may still contact (870) 793-2327, the phone number most recently associated with Crouch Insurance Agency, for assistance.
