Judy M. Wright, 64 of Harrisburg departed this life Wednesday, June 8, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas surrounded by the ones she loved most. She was born on February 11, 1958, in Trumann, Arkansas the daughter of James Floyd and Edna Marie Qualls Baker.
She was raised on Judd Hill Plantation. Judy graduated from Trumann High School in 1976. She was employed as a dietary supervisor for the Trumann School District for 32 years. Judy married Jimmy Wright on December 18, 1981, and was a loving, faithful wife for 41 years. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Judy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wright of Harrisburg, two sons: Kevin (Jamie) Wright of Harrisburg and Nathan (Stacy) Wright of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and seven grandchildren: Jehlian Wright, Drew Wright, Clay (Ainsley) Wright, Blaire Wright, Jake, Luke, and Ruby Kate Sample, one brother, Billy (Lamesa) Baker of Trumann, one sister, Glenda Lou (Jerry) Pipkin of Harrisburg, a brother-in-law, Tommy Holmes of Jonesboro, four nephews: Chad Baker, Jim Baker, Chris Holmes, and Dan Holmes, and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Connie Gail Holmes.
Larry Forbis will conduct the service and these men will serve as active pallbearers: Chad Baker, Jim Baker, Jeremy Luff, Clay Wright, Drew Wright, and Jake Sample. Honorary pallbearers are Gene Donaldson and Roger Brown. Visitation will be Friday, June 10 from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home and Funeral Services will be Saturday ~ June 11 at 2:00 P. M. in the chapel. Interment will be in Bolivar Cemetery
