Cave City Mayor Jonas Anderson (pictured) will be among the speakers at the yearly summer convention of the Arkansas Municipal League later this week.
Along with league staff, Anderson and Siloam Springs City Administrator Phillip Patterson will host a session on how local city officials can build and maintain relationships with their state-level representatives, and why those relationships are so critical.
“It’s really important to keep lines of communication open and honest and to help state leaders understand how their decisions directly affect our cities and towns,” Anderson said. “That all starts with genuine friendships and relationships.”
The Arkansas Municipal League is a voluntary organization, offering many different services to the 500 cities and towns of Arkansas. For more information, visit arml.org.
