Linda Jones Ray of Southside, Arkansas passed from this life on June 13, 2022. She was born February 4, 1940, at home in Oil Trough, Arkansas to Clifford and Thelma Jones.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas for fifty-seven years. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Home Economics. She was a four-time cancer survivor and a retired teacher from Oil Trough and Cedar Ridge Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Kenda T. Ray.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Ken Ray; son, Brett J. Ray (Vonda) of Batesville; grandchildren, Will A. Ray of Benton, Austin I. Ray and Bekkah T. Ray of Missouri, Savannah Ray of Batesville; four sisters, Lavonne Mayes of Hot Springs, Deanna Lamb of Alexander, Arkansas, Brucene Hon (Charles) and Dorriese Butler (Dennis) of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Graveside services will be at Oaklawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 am with Larry Poff officiating.
