Jessie Arnold (Jeffro) Thompson, of Batesville, departed this life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
He was born in Helena on October 9, 1964, to Jesse Lafayette Thompson and Patsy Ruth Puckett Thompson.
Jessie was a mechanic during his working years. He also enjoyed training horses and rodeos. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and climbing trees. He loved spending time with his family and friends and would do anything for any one of them without asking for anything in return. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Thompson, of the home; daughter, Jesse Belle Ruth Thompson, of Austin, Arkansas; his brothers, James Patrick Thompson, of Sparkman, Richard Lafayette Thompson, of Austin, and Brandon Thompson, of Des Arc; nieces, Tabitha Thompson, of Judsonia, Nikki Thompson, of Batesville, Trisha Webb, of Beebe; nephews, James Harris Thompson, of Batesville, Pat Blackstock, of Amy; and a host of other relatives.
Jessie was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Tammy Ruth Blackstock, brother, Timothy Loran Dillenger, and nephew, Raymond Thompson.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Doty Southside Funeral Service with Bro. Richard Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow the service in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Griffithville.
Pallbearers will be John Jarvis, Robert Butler, Anthony Brown, James Harris Thompson, Pat Blackstock, and Brandon Mott.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doty Southside Funeral Service.
