An employee of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department was found dead over the weekend, the apparent victim of a gunshot wound.
Kristy Marie Taylor, 57, was found dead in the driveway of her home southwest of Salem, Saturday just before 6 p.m., according to a release from the Arkansas State Police.
Her body has been transported to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory where the state medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death and possibly provide evidence to indicate when Taylor was shot, the state police said.
Fulton County authorities have asked special agents of the state police Criminal Investigation Division to handle the investigation.
