Alex R. James, 20, of Newport passed away Sunday, July 17, at his home. He was born April 26, 2002, in Newport, to Melissa (Baker) James. He loved family gatherings, sports, video games, and social media.
Alex is survived by his mother; Melissa James (Mark Ward) of Newport, brother; John James of Newport, sister; Karissa James of Newport, nephew; Tobias Hodgkiss of Newport, niece; Sarah James of Newport, friends: Chandler Allen, Clemmie Alcorn, Preston Baker, Randall Baker, Jason Jones Jr., and Peyton Owens.
Memorial services for Alex will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 22, at the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel.
