Sherrie Beth Martin, 59, of Newport departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2022. She was born October 10, 1962, to Norman Ray and Martha L. (Cossey) Shelley.
Sherrie loved family birthday celebrations and was known for making all the family’s birthday cakes. She enjoyed arrowhead hunting, collecting coins and antique shopping. She also liked cooking, painting and going to yard sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, Donald Shelley.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Jeremy) Grubbs of Dierks and Amanda Wilkerson and fiancé Herby Pilto of Corning; her brother, Carl Shelley of Springdale; her sister, Debbie Smith of Newport; her grandchildren, Melonie Barnett, Daniel Barnett and Myah Barnett; and special friends, Debbie Loftis, Marolyn and Dennis.
