Lillian Beatrice Smith, 86, of St. Louis, departed this life on July 17, 2022. She was born in Macks on September 26, 1935, to Virgil Lee and Lillian (Beeler) Stewart.
Lillian was of the Baptist belief; she enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Zed Smith; her brothers, Edward Stewart and S.A. Stewart; her sisters, Daisy Cournaya and Truvetta Stewart and her son-in-law, Joseph Knigge.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Knigge of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Jacob (Audrey) Knigge and Hanna Knigge; her great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Knigge, Raylan Knigge, and Adalyn Knigge; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Craig Shirley, Jake Shirley, Buddy Vance Jr., Dewey Williams, Joey Huey and Scotty Parmer.
The service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Dillinger Funeral Home with Lano Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Locust Grove cemetery.
