Gail Smith, 86, of Mount Pleasant, passed away July 24, 2022.
She was born April 26, 1936, in Lafferty, Arkansas to Claude and Dovie (Moser) Edwards.
Gail enjoyed going to church, yard sales, and gardening. She loved her family very much.
Survivors include one son, Mark Smith; two daughters, Denise Baily (Frankie) of Sidney, Davonda Bland of Melbourne; two brothers, D.R. Edwards (Beth) of Mount Pleasant, Don ”Pete” Edwards (Linda) of Melbourne; one sister, Ortez Logans of Melbourne; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, E. Marshell Smith.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:00 am at Reeves Cemetery on Guion Rd. with her nephew, Philip Edwards officiating.
