Karen Elizabeth Johnston, age 64 of Cave City passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at her home in Cave City. She was born on April 3, 1958, in National City, California to Clifford and Wanda Manuel. She was a homemaker. She loved reading, gardening, and cooking. Most of all she loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Manuel and her husband, Denis Johnston.
She is survived by her son, Chris Stewart (Caira) of Batesville, Arkansas; her father, Clifford Manuel and his wife Row of Shell, Wyoming; one stepson, Jay Rusty Johnston of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; one brother, Kenny Manuel (Jonie) of Chula Vista, California; two sisters, Kathy Manuel of Lakeside, California and Karol Perkey (Donald) of Sidney, Arkansas; her half-sister, Katherine Inez Manuel of Billings, Montana; four grandchildren, Jamie Johnston, Connor Johnston, Michael Stewart and Allyson Stewart; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
