Finis Ezekiel Doolin, 81, of Batesville passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022.
He was born August 31, 1940, in Marcella, Arkansas to Hiram LaVoid Doolin and Eulia Mae Patterson Doolin.
Finis was of the Baptist faith and loved his family greatly. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the VFW in Batesville, and a truck driver for 32 years. He was a pilot and belonged to the Corvette Club. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4wheelers, hiking and taking long walks, dancing, and hunting.
Survivors include his three daughters, Anita Redenbaugh (Richard Reeves) of Spring Hill, Kansas, Audra Doolin (Kevin Sprague) of Linn Valley, Kansas, and Angela Spielbusch (James) of Gardener, Kansas; significant other, Doris Slater of Batesville; brother, Jimmie Doolin (Nellie) of Overland Park, Kansas; two sisters, Fern Cassidy of St. Louis, Missouri and Ollie Golden of Montgomery, Alabama; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Hazel Doolin Ray, Mary Doolin Griggs, Marie Doolin Warren; and infant sister, Gertrude Doolin.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
