PINEVILLE, La. – The Lyon College women’s soccer played Louisiana Christian on Sunday afternoon in Pineville and dropped a tough 5-0 decision.
Lyon College was held without a shot on goal in both periods, while LCU had a total of 36. The Scots were able to get four goal saves in the first half and six in the second half and had one corner kick.
Emily Martinez had two goal saves and Rhyan Hioki had eight saves for Lyon College.
The Scots gave up four goals in the first half and one in the second period of play.
Zoe Papazoglou, Hailey Williams, Alli Mead, Emily Betzold, Kate Whitenton, Ana Lupton, Taylor Hammons, Addy Lovell, Alexis Whitely, and Allison Byars played for Lyon College. Substitutes for the Scots were Deaiveon Carter, Destinee Flowers, and Ashlyn Winters.
